May 6, 2013: Roanoke, VA

Opening Promo: John Cena, Ryback and Vicki Guerrero exchange words and announce that their Extreme Rules match will be Last. Man. Standing.

Match: Randy Orton vs. Damian Sandow

Sandow comes out singing his own mocking rendition of Randy’s entrance music. Orton dominates most of the match. After commercial break, Sandow has control of Orton and hits him with the Elbow of Disdain. Randy turns the tables with a powerslam, then delivers a DDT off the ropes. Orton then hits Sandow with the RKO for the win. As Orton goes backstage, he gets blindsided by Big Show, who knocks him out with a WMD.

Match: Fandango vs. R. Truth

WWE crowdChris Jericho comes out first with his blinkety jacket and announces he’s putting together a judge’s panel to scrutinize Fandango’s dancing ability, consisting of himself and Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai).

Fandango comes out with his original nameless dance partner and does his grind. The judges hold up 2, 1, and 2. Fandango dominates Truth early, and Truth comes back with a face-front suplex and spinning drop kick. Fandango rolls out, and the judges give Truth all 10s. Fandango leaves in disgust and Truth gets the win.

Match: Alberto Del Rio (with Ricardo Rodriguez) vs. Dolph Ziggler (with AJ Lee and Big E Langston)

Del Rio has an early advantage, then Ziggler gains the upper hand. JBL calls AJ “Single White Female.” Lawler says he heard that AJ is eating for two now. Cole says “She’s not pregnant,” and Lawler replies “She’s schizophrenic.” Del Rio and Ziggler exchange near falls. After Del Rio lays Ziggler out with the Backstabber, Jack Swagger and Zeb Coulter make their entrance and join the announcers.

After commercial break, Del Rio and Ziggler are back in action. The two are battling back and forth as Zeb explains that Cinco De Mayo is just the Mexicans celebrating beating the French or somebody. Del Rio gets a Tilt-A-Whirl backbreaker on Ziggler and follows it up with a kick to the face. The two have a series of reversals until Del Rio slaps on the Cross Arm Breaker. AJ interferes, and Big E drags out Del Rio and throws him on top of Swagger. Swagger lays everybody out, then pulls a ladder out from under the ring and batters Del Rio and Ziggler with it.

Match: The Shield (Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jay) and Kofi Kingston

The Usos get an early advantage, but The Shieldketeers wind up beating on Jimmy Uso for 15 minutes. Jimmy then gets a hot tag to Kofi, who delivers his signature moves on Ambrose. Reigns breaks up a potential win. The Usos, Rollins and Reigns then brawl outside the ring, and Kofi sets up Ambrose for a cross-body. Rollins pushes him off, and Ambrose plants him with a face-first DDT for the win.

Match: Anotonio Cesaro vs. Zack Ryder

Cesaro dominates most of the match and wins with the Gotch Neutralizer.

Promo: Paul Heyman takes to the Jumbotron screen and talks up how Brrrrock Lesnar will destroy HHH at Extreme Rules. He shows video of Brock destroying HHH’s Stamford office. HHH comes out and tells him to have Brock come to his real office—the ring.

Match: 6 Divas tag match: AJ Lee and the Bella Twins vs. Kaitlyn and the Funkadactyls

AJ starts off with Cameron and gets in a sneak attack. AJ toys with Cameron as the hapless Funkadactyl tries to reach her partners. Cameron finally hot tags Kaitlyn, and AJ slaps her. Kaitlyn hulks up and scares AJ, who then tries to tag in one of the Bellas. Both Bellas drop off the ring apron, and Kaitlyn downs AJ with The Spear and gets the win.

Match: Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett

Mark Henry disses Sheamus on the mike. Sheamus comes out to diss him back. They strip off their shirts and prepare to go at it, when Wade Barrett comes out for his scheduled match with Sheamus.

After commercial break, Henry has joined the announcers and tells Cole he’s “ate up with stupid.” Sheamus smacks Wade on the chest 10 times as the announcers discuss Henry’s choice of words. Sheamus knocks Barrett off the ring apron and feigns throwing him on top of Henry, who freaks and falls out of his chair. As he gets back up, Sheamus decks him with a Brogue Kick. Doctors attend to Henry as Sheamus and Barrett go at it in the ring. Barrett gets the upper hand and sets up his Bullhammer, but Sheamus reverses it with White Noise, laying Barrett out. As Barrett gets back up, Sheamus clocks him with the Brogue Kick and gets the win. Henry then charges into the ring with a belt and whips Sheamus out of the ring. Henry yells at Sheamus to “tell some more jokes,” then crushes him with the World’s Strongest Slam. They show a closeup of Sheamus’s back, and it is genuinely streaked with whip marks.

Monster Match: Kane vs. Ryback

The two big bruisers trade power moves and spill out of the ring. After commercial break, Ryback has the upper hand. He takes down Kane with a Lou Thesz Press and then charges him, but Kane interjects a Big Boot. Kane attempts a Choke Slam, but Ryback powers out. Kane reverses Ryback’s finisher with a suplex, then climbs to the top corner. Ryback foils Kane’s top rope attack and takes Kane out with the Shellshock. A run-in with the Shield, Daniel Bryan and John Cena ensues, ending with Ryback laying out Cena with a folding chair.
